Herding Instinct Test

We test you dog on sheep in the arena to see if your dog shows herding interest and will advise you about your dog's potential. If your dog demonstrates a herding instinct, we will gladly discuss training.

Started Herd Dog—Includes boarding, Training normally takes about three months. Your dog will learn to work livestock in the arena and pen environment.

Advanced Herd Dog- Includes boarding—Continuation of Started Herd Dog training. The dog learns to work animals in a field.

General—Most pups are trained for off leash obedience between 6 to 12 months old and before introducing them to stock. Like people, dogs are all different.
